Growing up in Wisconsin, I have a deep appreciation for our lakes, rivers and forests. These treasures are an important part of what makes our state so special, and I believe that we have a responsibility to protect them for future generations.
Our nation was founded on the principle that government should be by the people and for the people. Yet over the years Congress has failed to uphold this principle by catering to special interest groups and only being concerned about the next election, rather than focusing on the needs of their constituents.
