Gallagher Announces Winners of 2020 App Challenge

December 15, 2020

GREEN BAY, WI —Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) today announced that Katie DeBruin and Wesley Jochman from Fox Valley Lutheran High School won the 2020 Congressional App Challenge for Wisconsin's Eighth Congressional District. Katie and Wesley created the Road America App, which helps scans tickets for sporting events.

The idea for the app came to them while they worked as ticket-scanners at Road America over the summer, and would minimize the sharing of scanning devices and increase efficiency in the scanning of tickets.

"I'm proud to announce that Katie DeBruin and Wesley Jochman from Fox Valley Lutheran High School have won the 2020 Congressional App Challenge for Wisconsin's Eighth District,"said Rep.
