GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — Congressman Mike Gallagher hosted a trauma-informed care event today over at NWTC in Green Bay.
Northeast Wisconsin leaders in crisis response, child welfare systems, and community organizations all shared their experiences on the progress made in the field.
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- It has been a little over a week since severe weather wreaked havoc on Northeast Wisconsin, and some residents are still trying to find relief after the storm.
While Wisconsinites are all too familiar with unpredictable weather, there's a statewide effort to make sure people are more prepared for any storm.
Leadership from Brown, Outagamie and Calumet counties met for a single goal.
“What can we do together as a community to take care of the environment, but also ensure a robust agricultural economy at the same time,” said Congressman Mike Gallagher.
